Mars into Scorpio tonight

TODAY! Finally.

Mars (planet of drive, courage, ambition and creativity) is moving out of Libra and into Scorpio tonight at 7:25pm Pacific. This is a major development. Mars has been stuck in Libra since last December, asking us to think strategically and to work with others. These are admirable qualities of course, but the energy of Mars wants to plunge ahead. He doesn't like to be tactful and charming, so we've all felt a little stifled the last several months. This all changes tonight.

Mars in Scorpio is intensely creative, transformative, and of course sexual. This is a very primal sky event. Scorpio is ruled by Mars, and so this is a nice placement for the fiery planet. Aries and Scorpio people will feel this shift the strongest - it's time for ACTION. All of us will notice the forward motion in our lives, and money and projects will begin to really flow again!

Full Moon in Capricorn

Today is a Full Super Moon in Capricorn. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, as is Saturday, so the qualities of this full moon are very much apparent.
Saturn rules discipline, limitation, achievement, persistence, career - but mostly Responsibility. These are the issues that might come up today.

The "Super Moon" side of things just means these issues might be really in your face. No avoiding them anymore. We can also experience new clarity about our feelings and emotions. Saturn makes things crystal clear.

How far have you come since January when the Sun was in Capricorn? What have you achieved over the last six months? A Full Moon brings things to fruition, and Saturn means you will "Reap what you have Sown". Today you are experiencing the harvest of your endeavors.

Also, not a good day to confront authority figures, and ventures might be hard to get off the ground. Capricorn is about pushing through ANY obstacle, so don't be discouraged! Keep chugging away and you'll break through.

Excellent post from a very accomplished Bay Area musician who knows what he's talking about! I completely agree with Eric Din's sentiments that Hendrix was a gentle soul and is misrepresented in this movie. IF it's ever released, I will be boycotting it.

Moon into Virgo at 2:24pm

So now we have some forward motion with our mentality and negotiating power! With the Moon's entrance into Virgo, it further enhances our desires to get organized and tie up any loose ends from June.

Watch for things to REALLY get moving though after Jupiter enters Leo on July 16th, AND Mars enters Scorpio on July 25th! The beginning of July is a time to get yourself organized as we build towards late July/August, which is highlighted for real expansive, fiery action!!!
