Welcome to Fall! The Autumnal Equinox marks the midpoint between Summer and Winter. Today we have equal day and equal night. Libra is about balance, harmony, justice, and partnerships of ALL kinds.

Today is referred to as the festival of Mabon. This is the second harvest festival of the year, the first being Lammas (August 1st) and the third being Halloween (October 31st). Whatever was started in March this year is now coming to fruition. It's harvest season, where we see the result of our labors. We reap what we have sown. It's the time to take stock of where you are in your life right now - what you've brought forth and what you still want to manifest.

Today we feel the turn of the wheel of the year. Standing in the middle of equal daylight to equal nighttime, we look at BALANCE. Are we out of balance in our lives? Are we taking care of ourselves? Are we working hard AND making time for our dreams and having fun too?

Mabon also relates to mid life; to our 40's and 50's when we have accomplished some things, but also might harbor regrets. This holiday was pivotal in ancient times, since a good final harvest was crucial to surviving the winter months ahead.  Relationships are reassessed so we can decide who is best to take into the harsh winter with us. If someone is draining your energy, now might be the time to let go.

What a beautiful weekend with the Sun and Moon in Taurus. The Moon is exalted (strengthened) in Taurus and is conjunct the asteroid Eros (love affairs) making it extra juicy. Hope you were able to get out and enjoy nature. I filled my house with beautiful tea roses in different shades of pink to celebrate the Venusian vibe :) Mercury was stationing all weekend too which can clear the air between people. Something can be started right now that has huge growth potential!

As of this evening we now have Mercury Retrograde in Gemini until June 11th when it turns Direct. Time to reorganize, retry, rethink and redo our plans. Rely on intuition during this time, and thoughtful communication. Don't freak out too much over this - just try not to sign any important contracts or make big purchases.

New Moon Horoscopes: April/May 2015

We had a New Moon in Aries last Saturday at 11:57am Pacific. It was the second of two new moons in Aries this year which is unusual! It heightens the vibe of rebirth. Saturday's moon was in the very last degrees of Aries - inspiring us to venture out on a new path. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and heralds the Spring Equinox and the start of the astrological year. Now is the time to plant the seeds of whatever you'd like to grow or expand in 2015.

With the Sun's entrance into Taurus this morning at 2:42am, our focus turns towards creativity, empire building and pleasure. Taurus loves food, money, nature, sex and commitment - not necessarily in that order. It's going to be a wild weekend with Saturday's Full Moon eclipse in Libra (relationships). Avoid social complications! Holding on to old patterns and relationships will get more and more challenging as the month progresses. It's time to let go and embrace the Truth.

New Moon in Virgo this morning at 7:13am PDT. Today we start fresh and begin a new month long moon cycle. Virgo is about cleaning up and attending to details.

Now is when we focus on our health and start new, positive habits. Virgo contains the seeds of success! It's the first harvest sign of the year, and signals our first move towards Fall. It's time to get serious and decide what or who we want to bring with us through the Winter.

Virgo succeeds because it is practical. It attends to details and because of it's Airy nature it uses scientific thinking rather than emotional communication.
