Mindfulness meditation improves connections in the brain
Science and medicine are slowly catching up with the wisdom of ancient religions and spiritual practices. It was announced at Harvard today that meditation makes the "compassion" center of the brain grow, while at the same time minimizing the area related to stress. It's as simple as finding a comfy chair, closing your eyes, and focusing on your breath.
